Last year, I was the runner-up in The CCMA Ultimate Fan Contest. With The CCMA Awards coming back to London this year, I thought I'd try again. I tried to think of what the previous winner did that my video was missing. She had a lot of testimonials from artists saying how great she was. I knew if I wanted to win this time, I would have to do something similar. I also entered the contest near the beginning of the entry period so there was more time to share it. However, on that day, Facebook and Instagram went down and I didn't know if they would come back. So when they did, I got friends and family to watch it repeatedly to make up for that lost time.
